His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama will return this weekend to Hungary after ten years to give teachings and a talk in parliament and to receive an honorary title in Budapest.The Dalai Lama will give a public teaching entitled “Introduction to Tibetan Buddhism” in two parts in the Papp Laszlo sports hall on Saturday.
In the afternoon Budapest Mayor Gabor Demszky will present the honorary citizenship of Budapest for his work in promoting peace and a violence-free world, and in preserving spiritual and cultural values.
On the next day he is scheduled to give a public teaching about the art of happiness and answer questions from the audience.

The His Holiness programme on Monday includes a meeting with MPs and an address in parliament, to be followed by a press conference.
The Dalai Lama last visited Hungary in 2000. This will be his seventh visit.
